Orioles Baseball, Through the Eyes of a Child

OK, I’ll admit that the Orioles made me grumpy this past week. I have a feeling that the Royals series will take me past “grumpy” and into the “despondent” territory. The Orioles have found every way possible to make me crazy lately, but I got to thinking that maybe I am going about this the wrong way.

So I collected my four-year old and my smart phone, and I decided I would experience baseball through a child’s eyes. I’ll warn you: the best part of this clip was cut out because it was deliciously nonsensical. I think he was trying to describe a pick-off, but it featured the phrase “the bad guys” to refer to the opposing team, and had a lot of miming that didn’t translate to audio very well.

The moral of the story is that, even if the Orioles don’t surprise me and head to the playoffs, there is plenty about Orioles baseball to love.
