Episode 287: Flattening the Curve

Leading Off

Well. This is less fun than it could be. We hope this episode finds you in good health and good spirits. As we all hunker down in an effort to keep ourselves collectively healthy, we scrape at the bottom of the barrel of Orioles content.

This Week on the Twitters

Here’s what’s going on in the world of Orioles Baseball, in 280 characters, or fewer:

Around the Bases: Lack of News Edition

First Base: What should MASN be showing while the season is delayed?

Second Base: Irresponsible Conjecture

Third Base: We missed Bryan Haloday in our Orioles FanFic session.

Home Plate: Orioles-related symptoms

Social Distancing

With all of the talk about social distancing, we wonder what momentous moments in Orioles history would have looked like, had we been practicing social distancing at the time.

Though Camden Yards in the Dark Ages may have been mistaken for a gathering where more than 10 people were prohibited, we think there would have been some significant changes.

Blowing the Save

Most podcasts try to end on a high note – the perfect coda to a quality program. That’s just not our style. Each week, we’ll end on a weak note, blowing the save with an item that didn’t quite fit into the episode, or something they simply need to get off their chests. It’s our version of taking the ball and pulling a Kevin Gregg.
