The Orioles, so accustomed to being sellers in July, acquired veteran slugger Jim Thome from the Phillies yesterday. At this point in the season, he’s only had 62 at-bats, but will certainly get more as a DH. Thome is 41, so here’s hoping that his back holds up this season. […]
